Privacy Policy

What Revalu is

Revalu is a free software platform that helps real estate agents build a pre-listing improvement plan with a seller and, optionally, request a quote from an independent contractor for some or all of the recommended work. This policy explains what information Revalu collects through the app, how it's used, and who it's shared with.

Information we collect

• Agent account information: name, brokerage, phone, and email are required to create an account. A headshot, logo, website, and brand color are optional.
• Property and seller information you enter: property address, seller name, approximate value, target listing date, seller goals, maximum improvement budget, occupancy, and any notes you add.
• Walkthrough data: the recommendations and photos you create for a property during a walkthrough.
• Quote request information: the specific items, notes, and seller-consent confirmation you submit when requesting a quote from a contractor.
• Standard technical data: the kind of request/error logs our hosting and infrastructure providers collect automatically to operate and secure the service.

How we use this information

To provide the service: generating your reports and PDFs, sending sign-in links and quote request notification emails, and maintaining your account. We don't use this information for advertising, and we don't sell it.

Who we share information with

• The seller, via the shareable report link or PDF you generate and send to them.
• A contractor, only for the specific items you select, and only after you confirm the seller has consented to that information being shared for the purpose of an estimate.
• Service providers who help us run Revalu: Supabase (hosting, database, authentication, and file storage) and Resend (transactional email). They process data on our behalf and don't use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell personal information and do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Data retention and deletion

Your information is kept for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account, and everything associated with it — your profile, properties, recommendations, photos, and quote request history — at any time from your profile page. This is self-service and immediate; we don't require you to contact us to delete your data.

Security

Your data is isolated at the database level — an agent account can only ever access its own properties and data, enforced by database-level access policies, not just application code. All connections to Revalu are encrypted. No service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.

Children's privacy

Revalu is intended for use by real estate professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the effective date above.
